Question

Hmm... What will the basic equipment be for each of the (what is it now?) eight units?

Also, what is the difference between wheeled and tracked vehicles, or advatages and disadvantages of these vehicles.

The differences between wheeled and tracked vehicles are very straightforward, wheeled vehicles are:

1. cheaper - a mission usually has a battle point limit awarded by HQ and each squad has a point value associated with it. If you start customising your squads and upgrading their equipment or boosting their numbers then that will also increase their value. If your mission is to locate a hidden base on a large map before they can launch a nuclear strike then taking a lot of cheap wheeled vehicles would be a sound idea.

2. faster - wheeled vehicles are usually a lot lighter than tanks so the tend to have a higher top speed. If your mission involves locating, evading or intercepting an enemy then this might be all the advantage you need.

3. weaker - obviously a tank can take a lot more damage than the normal wheeled vehicle. A truck or jeep cannot crush people underneath it or flatten barriers, but a tank can.

4. power - a tank can carry a lot of extra weight so you can spend a lot of points adding super tough armour, clever electronics, extra ammo and mega weapons. That just isn't possible with wheeled vehicles.
