Yes I do love the game and the fact they include so many great SCI-FI references. I love the WOPR (War Operation Plan and Resonce) computer... from wargames. Keep making great games... please!

The robots that move in a straight line until they hit something seem as though they're from the movie The Black Hole as well, ala VINCENT and BOB.

The Hueys are what I like to call "lemming-bots."

I didn't even notice that! What room is it in, the main hub room?

Wargames is such a good movie. If only HEL could be defeated by tic-tac-toe.

Isn't one of the enemies based on Johnny 5 from short circuit?

Did anyone in the UK see that on TV recently? It has not aged well.

Well I have no idea where people are getting these Z1R3 numbers from... but the WOPR is very close to the end... They are in a room with a Maximillion bot, and the Room when you choose about the message from earth... And they are making a sequel to Wargames... I hope it doesnt suck...

Not sure which bot you are thinking of there, but in any case, that's not something we've referenced.

I'm guessing he's referring to the stalker robots. The torso and arms are kinda similar.

One of the characters in the TV show "Bewitched" is also called Zelda.

In fact Zelda is a traditional name (apparently it means "luck" in Yiddish):
http://www.thenamemachine.com/baby-names-girls/Zelda.html

As you might expect from a Yiddish name it's more common for Jews than non-Jews. Search for "Jewish Zelda" on Google and you will find a whole load of actual (Jewish) people called Zelda. I met one myself once.

...maybe there are Jewish robots? There are interesting parallels between robots and golems (golems are from a Jewish legend about a learned rabbi who created an animated servant from mud). Continuing the meaningless coincidences, there are golems in The Legend of Zelda; they are a staple of fantasy games now (I think they first appeared in D&D, which definitely took them from Jewish legend).

Spoiler (highlight to read):
I suppose the crew member whose personality is in the Zelda robot could be Jewish. Sure. Why not? An Easter egg for Talmudic scholars.

The little square robots (3 of them walk across the screen near the beginning) are from "Silent Running".

HEL's face resembles (IMHO) the Autobot logo from Transformers.

That's all I've got to add, for now.
