Time to catch up on some golden oldies from the bargain bin.
I shouldn't have played this after ME3 really
The voice actors are actually really good, the dialogue is well written, but they just don't really say anything interesting. At no point are you given any say in how any of it unfolds. I know it never claims too, but it's interesting to play this right after ME3. I don't even really get what is going on after completing all three game it's almost like they're embarrassed to explain it, because it's so silly.
It feels like ME3, but with the story, interesting settings, variety and player choice all removed
Looks absolutely lovely though, having worked with game artists I know how long it takes just to make a plank of wood look good, so I can really appreciate how much time and effort went into GoW3. Underwater section stood out as particularly nicely realised.
Over in ~5hours, seems a bit a gip, but then it's just machine gun fight after machine gun fight so might as well end it quick. Slightly annoyed that there was ZERO ammo available anywhere for my usual favourite weapon - the sniper rifle. |
