I have fond memories of this board, of kicking crazy ideas for this game around... Now with the delays, I feel sad.
(caps lock warning)
FINISH MR. ROBOT AND THEN MAKE BATTLESCAPE!!!!! |

Have you considered bulk-buying the large trays of coke-cans, Installing a refridgeration system in your office, Boring a hole in the wall and rigging it so if you press a button you get coke?

On a more serious note, If Mr. Robot is a success and gets alot of publicity I believe there will be a good chance that some programmers would look at you guys for a job.. |

We'd dearly love to get some more people in - we have a long list of game ideas we'd love to make, but we just don't have the time. We are already looking at contracting some people in part-time, and it would be fantastic to have another 'team' of an artist and programmer working in house so we could get twice as many games out there |

I'd love to work for you guys, Except:
A. I'm 14
B. I'm on the other side of the world (Allthough admittedly you have allready hired over here)
C. I am only proficient in two programming languages, None of them a "Real" one.
Believe me, I know how much the "I really want to make this" feeling sucks. |

I'd join up with you, too, if it wasn't for the fact that:
A: I only know two languages, and none of them are useful for programming.
B: Well, you've seen my Bork art.
3: My ideas largely involve nakedness. Often my own. |

Actually, I spotted some of your art on another forum (maybe the blacksky game one?) and meant to mention - you have a nice style there - you should really pursue that to its limit as I think you have a lot of potential.

Yeah, despite all this globalisation/work via wire talk, we are old fuddy-duddies and like to have people in the room with us when we are working with them. Contractors are another matter of course, but even there we are hoping to pay some local people at first.
I think these days you have to consider working with a range of people on small parts of projects, I just like the idea of putting a team together that stay together across projects - I think you get the best results that way. |

@icarus - Could you share some of your works with us?
@Fost - I agree, Its a ton easier to communicate with people when they are in the same room with you. |

I'd love to help, but as far as production goes i'm a code editor, a 'finish guy' as you will. Friend of mine was doing an RPG a couple years back just to spread around the crew. After he got all the different parts of the game working individually he had no idea how to link them all together. Ended up being me that made an overall shell that he later expanded upon.
Somehow I don't think my talents would be too useful.
That and I live in the US and have no desire to move to the UK. I've got a few Geek Squad-type friends out there... if you guys start looking for people I'll see if I can track 'em down for ya. |

I'm one fourth Finnish.
I don't do graphics so well.
I know C++ and PHP.
I live on the other side of the world. (Assuming you guys live in Australia... Or the part of Australia that is opposite Oregon State...)
If I can help out, just lemme know. |

If you guys ever change your mind about working with remote types send me an email. Its getting quite lonely working on games by myself these days. |
