I thought the same thing when I first saw it.

Me too Smile Oddly enough, HEL started life in his 'corrupt' state, and then I progressively refined him to make his start state. When I'd done that, he actually reminded me of the 'computer crisps' you could buy in the 80's for 10p. They were all the same, tasted rancid, and had several different themes like spaceships. The computer one looked very much like HEL does at the start.

This would make a great trivia section for the Mr. Robot entry on wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Robot

I just updated all the release info for Moonpod on there too with Mr. Robot's details.

While we're discussing transformer references, energon appears to be an homage to that as well.

The list of geeky pop culture references continues Very Happy

Perfect! Just finished a gruelling bit of work, came home with four cold beers and there's a new game out from Moonpod - storming!

To me, "Eidolon" can and will only ever mean a Lucasarts game on the Commodore 64. Brilliant bit of creativity that - a Victorian inventor wreaks a machine of brass and crystal, and it takes him on a voyage into his own Living Mind.

You had to catch fireballs and kill dragons in the voxel caverns of your mind. Brilliant stuff.

Then again, I was kinda hoping the ghost-hack maze-game might let me take over 'bots Paradroid stylee - not disappointed at all. This really is a charming game! The references are giving me a warm, fuzzy little glow.

By the way, any Babylon 5 fans - be of good cheer. New Stuff!

Hello everyone, by the way!

Gawd, Star Trek quotes, iris-lock noises from the original version of Alien - it's got it all.

And what a bloody good laugh it was, too - might have to actually go do the Other Terminal this time 'round, casting aside the high road in the name of high jinks Wink

Ha - I'm really glad someone spotted that. It took ages to recreate that sound. I ended up scraping a knife round an old saucepan Smile

That's probably what they did for the movie - amazing the household junk you find in a foley pit. Very Happy
