I'm not too keen on any of the candidates. I thought the debates didn't answer any of my questions and would have liked to know where they stand on other issues. The last time I followed politics with more interest than I ever had was the Bush Sr./Clinton/Perot thing. I just thought that including a third party (no matter what it was) kind of kept the others straight ya know?

There didn't seem to be as much candidate smearing and there actually seemed to be more concentration on the issues themselves which was refreshing to say the least. I honsetly don't know what to make of these guys now. I'll probably write in Homer Simpson as a protest vote or something Smile

If I were running I'd vote for myself. If I could, I would get a bumper sticker that says "Kerry-Bush: Working for a stupider America"

We all know Cheney's got the remote control for Bush anyway, and Kerry's a T1000 sent back in time to kill.. I dunno, cheesecake. Or muffins. Take your pick. I'd vote Schwarzenegger if I could, 'cause he could fight everyone in the world and win.

Probably.

I think Hanz and Franz are Americans.

I'd vote for them. But only if they have the new and improved fake electric bicep flex thing.

Does it feel like your elections are especially important this time round? I only ask because our UK news seems to be covering it from every angle it can - they are certainly making a bigger deal of it than they ever have before.

They don't appear as important to me simply because they've relegated the process back to the lowest common denominator it seems. Back to the name calling stuff and blame shifting. No concrete thoughts on what they would do with certain issues. All one can look at is actual performances in their track records if one is to go into the polls to make a more informed vote.

And it doesn't really help when the press has to turn it into an emotional rollercoaster for viewers with their biases showing to make them lean one way or the other. What bothers me in general with news stories is that you have on the one hand, news reporting, and on the other you have editorials. With the last, of course you expect opinions, but I don't like to see opinions bleeding through news reporting end of things.

I just want the news, the information and the facts please if I'm to make an informed vote. I'll read and watch their editorials later.

Nice cartoon btw Smile Ahnold is always entertaining
