I'm leaning more toward the irreverant side of things. My pick was Bender |

IMHO, OMF2097's Nova beat them all onto pulp, and I could think of some more (Stone Rhino anyone?) and then some...but for the time being, "The Governer" gets my vote. |

PEople are voting for bender 'cuz of the cool attitude, he's hardly a robot though, just some angst teen who watched Mr. T too much and happen to reside in a metalic body.
I didn't vote T-100 just because I love schwartzenegger, doesn't matter that he's popular, "The Terminator" was simply one *** kicking robot.
I mean, they actually spent couple mils on a ROBOT MODEL being built, a MOVING HUMANOID ROBOT MODEL.
Now that's deserving a vote.
By voting for bender, you're really actually voting for his script writer, and I doubt he's much of a robot, you're voting for text lines, not for an actual robot. |

A vote for any of the robots is really a vote for the script writers/ special effects folks.
I always thought that arnie was a better robot than the anamatronics |

Yeah but Twiki is the Robot equivalent of Clock from Public Enemy - look at the bling he carries round his neck
Plus, he was always one with the ladies: 'Hey Wilma! BIDIBIDIBIDI!'
ahh, colonel Deering...

Ah, but you're all forgetting important things! Like the fact that R2-D2 is cute and smart |

If that's the colonel, I would like to be her "drill" sargeant.
(The heck you've turned me onto some hormone-driven teenager? Fost, get a grip, you're a married grown up, stop dragging us down immaturity lane with you, I don't want to spend the night in the doghouse.) |

He's a Dustbin!!!
Well, not really, I think he's my favourite Star Wars character. I'm just a bit down on Star Wars since Episode 1 (and especially 2).
I think Star Wars may have been the first film I saw at the cinema... |
