My first attempt at a "comedy" review. |
I think it was well done -- it made me chuckle, and now I want to play that game |

This is one of those odd games where initially I thought "this looks a bit basic". Then after playing it thought "this makes no sense", but then after forcing myself through about 10 goes I suddenly thought "wow this is amazing" and was completely hooked.
It's better than geometry wars - there I've said it. Play it until you actually understand what's going on and then post here telling me I'm wrong, I dare you
True it is a bit short, but then it costs hardly anything anyway.
I suspect it's doomed to obscurity due to the learning curve and graphics which is a bit sad. |

Battle of the tiles
I thought I'd seen every possible variation on the dungeon hack, but this is very weird. Turn based fantasy unit tiles marching every forward into the enemy. Not that deep, but for $5 that's ok, I found it really addictive for a few hours.

Tower Defence - I was getting a bit sick of seeing them, but this one is very nice, fairly large team for an indie game, which perhaps explains why it's so well polished. |

Noitu Love 2 - gorgeous pixel art, great animation. A side scrolling shootemup on the PC, don't see many of them. Is this game super tough or am I super lame? Don't answer that! |
