Why not one of the many other fine political parties in Australia? There's the Shooters Party. Or the Sex Party. And there was a party (Gamers 4 Croydon) formed specificially to run against that guy who was stopping us having an R rating for games. |

Sex Party and Gamers 4 Croydon sound good to me, too. In the long run, the pirate party will have more members and voters, of course. ;-)
But seriously, the primary goals of the sex party match up quite well with a lot of goals of the pirate party. I see a merger there in the near future.

It's true, I LOVE Whitby and go about 5 or 6 times a year. What I'd love is to get a couple of fisherman's cottages there, live in one and rent out the other to generate an income, then sit by the sea making games. All I need is about $500,000 - maybe if I sell a kidney ... |
